Wingfoiling in Sant'Antioco, Sardegna (Italy) offers world-class flat-water lagoon conditions, steady thermal winds, and top-tier instruction.Best Spots and ConditionsThe Lagoon (Between Mainland and Sant'Antioco): A 2.5-kilometer-wide, shallow lagoon (maximum depth around 5 meters) providing safe, lake-like flat water that prevents drifting out to sea.Wind Reliability: Consistent side-shore winds blow predominantly from western quadrants (NW, W, N) ranging from 8 to 20 knots during regular thermal days, and much stronger during storm systems. Scirocco (SE) winds also provide up to 250 ridable days a year.Coaquaddus Beach: An open-sea bay on the southern coast suited for advanced wave and surf wingfoiling, though not recommended for beginners.
