Located on a remote windy island on the northeast corner of Georgian Bay. Prevailing SW thermal winds on most afternoons from May to October. Full school facilities with gear from Duotone and North. Sail Canada approved lessons from most basic to foiling tacks and jibes. Offers tow foiling if there is no wind. Hoyle and Diane Schweitzer (inventors of the Windsurfer) had a summer cottage nearby. Canada’s largest First Nations run wind farm is there too. www.launchpadwindsurfacademy.ca
