Sunset Beach Florida

North or South parking lot with a pavillion. Shallow double sandbard entry with a small Jetty separating North/South lots break up bigger waves windier days making for easier entry. Parking lot is steps away from sand and water (no gear hauling). South west is the best, but anything NW to S works. About 3 miles north in front of Treasure Island beach but not quite up to Johns Pass is a offshore sandbar, great for doing surf loops and having plenty of deep water to recover. Locals call it "indicators". Further north, right above Johns pass is a VERY shallow sandbar, 1-2 ft at low tide. South of entry is Blinds pass, has a huge slow moving sandbar infront of the outlet that extends for about a 50m west, at a low tide its still about 3-4 feet, so its enough to stand up waves but no danger of plowing. Open and 10-30ft water everywhere else.
