Costa Calma in Fuerteventura is a long sandy beach with multiple hotels right on the beach. Access is very easy. There is an ION center right on the beach with new Duotone equipment. The wind is seasonal and and side/off shore, creating flat water conditions. The wind becomes consistent in the early summer, and can get very strong in late July. The ocean is pretty cold, requiring a long wetsuit well into June.
