Fun place to ride. There’s a gas station in town, that you need to stop and get a board pass to keep that on your person when riding. I think it’s $10 a day(3 day and season pass available). If the lake patrol stops you on the water you need to have it. Paid parking with the Rangers on the way in. You can drive right up to the water to launch. Probably wanna stay above Reds Marina until you learn the lake and wind patterns. It does get gusty, and it will turn up in speed quickly. There used to be a tarp set up for wind surfing, not sure if the locals are still managing that or not. Holiday weekends will be tough to park right by the water as there’s a lot of camping, but can still ride. Keep an eye out for boats and jet skis on the lake(really not a hazard if you’re using common sense). Ikitesurf has a sensor on it too. Not sure how to predict the wind there though.
