This 11.5km (as the bird flies) is partially a bay run mixed in with some open ocean energy from the second half and a washy 1km section at the end just to keep you on your toes so to speak :) There is also a well established shuttle on this route, look for DWT (DownWind Tribe) Shuttle service on FB and Insta to integrate with a active downwind community.
