SW to SSW wind swell. On incoming tide, strong tidal currents creating “Gorge-like” conditions with steep, breaking waves in deep water. When the conditions align, sets up like a point break. Power back upwind along the “inside passage” and avoid the chop. Up to 800m rides.
Best April-June, and October-November. Less so over the summer.
Cold water, kelp, and logs keep it interesting!
