The Oakland Estuary is a great location to efoil due to its scenic views, low/high tide independent, and the water never gets too rough even during windy days. Best lauch location is from the Jack London Aquatic Center publick dock. Free parking is next to it. There is also a water faucet closed by. No bathrooms. There are at times homeless encampments near by but I never had any issues with anyone. An alternate launch location would be from the Alameda by the Grant Street Launchin Facility.
