Most viable foiling location in Phoenix area. Wind forecasts are somewhat reliable, the lake is quiet low so winds can be very gusty especially on South and West winds. Warmer months, May through October winds are light south westerly, often peaking near sunset. Try avoid weekends in summer, due to lots of boat traffic and limited shoreline access. During cooler months, the best winds are from the North in the early morning (sunrise) tailing off as the temperature rises. Northerlies tend to be steadier and can produce a decent wind swell
